The Great Warrior Wall

Jointly produced by 2:10 Animation and Youku, The Great Warrior Wall is China’s first cinematic-level 3D action animation series for children. The project was selected for the National Animation Brand Protection Program by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. It topped national TV animation ratings and was broadcast across Youku, Kaku, CCTV Kids, numerous provincial satellite channels, and international television networks.

In production, the creative team aimed for feature-quality standards, working to strike a balance between 2D aesthetics and 3D technology. The journey from concept to screen was full of challenges, but the team pushed boundaries and refined every detail — with over 30 iterations of the lead character model alone. The result is an animation rich in visual impact, dynamic action, and tightly choreographed combat systems, delivering the kind of exhilarating experience today’s audiences expect.
